Man seriously injured in N1 accident in Pretoria

Paramedics said a seriously injured man was trapped in his vehicle and the Jaws of Life were used to free him from the wreckage.

A seriously injured man was trapped in his vehicle on the N1 South in Pretoria just before the Botha off-ramp on Saturday.

Paramedics used the Jaws of Life to free him from the wreckage.

According to Cert-SA spokesperson Ruan Heyns, they responded to the scene on Saturday afternoon around 14:16.

“It was reported that he veered off the road and collided with a tree next to the highway.”
