Man seriously injured in N1 accident in Pretoria
Paramedics said a seriously injured man was trapped in his vehicle and the Jaws of Life were used to free him from the wreckage.
A seriously injured man was trapped in his vehicle on the N1 South in Pretoria just before the Botha off-ramp on Saturday.
Paramedics used the Jaws of Life to free him from the wreckage.
According to Cert-SA spokesperson Ruan Heyns, they responded to the scene on Saturday afternoon around 14:16.
“It was reported that he veered off the road and collided with a tree next to the highway.”
He said the man was trapped in the vehicle.
“Jaws of Life were used to free the man from the wreckage before he was transported to a nearby hospital in a stable condition,” he added.
