Man stabbed to death while celebrating New Year in Sebokeng

While celebrating the start of the new year, a man was killed after he was stabbed, allegedly by someone he knew very well.

A case of murder is being investigated by the Sebokeng police after a man was stabbed to death, allegedly by a person known to him, while celebrating New Years Day in Sebokeng.

Police spokesperson, Sergeant Nthabiseng Mokhachane confirmed the case and said, “It is alleged that on 1 January, the deceased was stabbed to death by an unnamed man while celebrating New Year’s Day. According to anonymous tip-offs, the two knew each other very well.”

The motive behind the killing is currently unknown, and the suspect is still at large.
