Massive power cuts planned for 2 areas in Gauteng tomorrow and Monday

Tomorrow’s electricity supply will be unavailable for 16 hours while a 10-hour power cut is planned for Monday.

Two residential areas in Gauteng will be without electricity for an extended time while Eskom does maintenance on powerlines in the area.

Residents of Vischkuil, Springs will be without power from the early morning to nearly midnight tomorrow (February 25).

The power cut will start at 06:30 and continue until 23:00.

The power utility announced that residents in Douglasdale, Fourways are the next to be without power when their electricity will be cut from 08:00 until 18:00 on Monday (February 26).

Both interruptions are to do essential maintenance to power lines in the areas.
