More than 1-million Covid-19 tests completed, 58 568 positive cases

South Africa has passed the 1-million mark, having conducted 1 028 399 tests nationwide since the start of the coronavirus pandemic in the country.

27.3 percent of those who have passed away from the virus are in the 60 – 69 age category, followed by 24.1 percent in the 50 – 59 age category and 17.8 percent in the 70 – 79 age category.
