Motorists warned as rock-throwing resurfaces on N4 near Brits

Motorists are urged to stay vigilant as fresh rock-throwing incidents have been reported on the N4 between Brits and Rustenburg.

Bakwena Platinum Corridor Concessionaire has issued an urgent warning to motorists using the N4 between Brits Plaza and Rustenburg to be aware of people throwing rocks at vehicles.

According to Kormorant, incidents of rock-throwing along this stretch of road have been reported again in the past week. Bakwena said it is a dangerous act that puts lives at serious risk.

“Our patrollers are on the road 24/7 to keep it safe and clear. We urge all motorists to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity immediately.”

Motorists are urged to report such incidents to Bakwena’s 24-hour help desk at 0800 225 9362.
