Mpumalanga businessman shot dead
A man was shot and killed in front of an eyewitness while locking up his business.
Police from Ga-Nala, also known as Kriel, in Mpumalanga, are looking for a gunman who fatally shot a businessman on Friday.
According to Constable Angel Makubu, the spokesperson of Kriel Police, an eyewitness who was with the businessman at the time of the shooting said they closed the business’ gate at around 11:00, when an unknown man appeared.
According to Makubu, the man pointed a gun at the victim, Paul du Plessis, and shot him.
Du Plessis was rushed to a local doctor’s consulting rooms, where he passed away.
The eyewitness was not harmed.
