Emergency workers are searching for a missing woman following a collision between a truck and sedan on the N11 (Hendrina road).

Herklaas Taljaard of the CPF is assisting with the search and told Middelburg Observer that another occupant of the vehicle had been declared dead on impact.

The woman’s boyfriend, who survived the accident, told emergency services that his girlfriend was in the car with him and the deceased man.

The collision occurred shortly after 05:00 this morning.
