OR Tambo travellers warned about access changes and parking closures

Road closures at OR Tambo tomorrow will affect arrivals, parking and access routes, with motorists urged to expect delays and plan ahead.

Residents, motorists and travellers are urged to take note of several road closures that will be in effect at OR Tambo International Airport tomorrow.

Kempton Express reports that, according to Airports Company South Africa (Acsa), Cargo Road will only be accessible via Voortrekker Road leading to the SAA Cargo Area.

Expect delays

Motorists are advised to expect delays and plan ahead.

Those making use of the Arrivals Road will be rerouted to Parkade 2 North and South for all drop-offs and pick-ups.

Traffic in and around the arrivals section is expected to be heavier than usual due to the closures.

Parking changes

In addition, short-term parking at the Piazza will be completely closed.

Travellers can stay informed with real-time updates via the Acsa mobile app and on Acsa’s official social media channels throughout the day.
