Pit bull shooting: Feud after dog attack in KZN

Etienne Fivaz and his dog, Soldier, were attacked in Ashburton on Wednesday morning, which resulted in a dog being shot dead.

The owners of the pit bull terriers that attacked a fellow neighbour and his dog in Ashburton, KZN, resulting in the man shooting one of the dogs dead, have now approached their lawyers to take on the case.

The owners of the dogs were initially praised for accepting responsibility for their dogs attacking Etienne Fivaz and his dog, Soldier, on Wednesday morning.

However, the owners, who did not want to be named in the newspaper, told The Witness that they were opening a case at the police station. They refused to offer any further comment.
