Police arrest Geluksdal security company owner for kidnapping
It is alleged the man later said that the person he took escaped, and he did not know where he was.

A well-known owner of a security company in Geluksdal in Tsakane, Brakpan was arrested for allegedly kidnapping someone he accused of stealing.
Ekhurhuleni district communication officer Captain Neldah Sekgobela said a woman alleged that a friend of her grandson came to her house on August 2 to tell her that he had been kidnapped.
She was told that her grandson was threatened with a firearm before being forced into the boot of a car, allegedly by the security company owner.
The incident is said to be related to the theft of a cellphone.
Sekgobela added that the security company owner, in his 50s, allegedly told the spectators that he would feed the victim to the wolves and they would never see him again.
When the grandmother enquired about her grandson on August 4, the man allegedly told her that her grandson had escaped, and he did not know his whereabouts.
She then opened a case with the Tsakane SAPS resulting in the man’s arrest.
