Police launch manhunt after 20 gunmen rob cash van
A group of 20 suspects made off with an undisclosed amount of cash after a CIT heist.

The Masoyi police in Mpumalanga launched a manhunt for the suspectss of a cash-in-transit heist on Saturday.
A provincial police spokesperson, Brigadier Selvy Mohlala, said a group of armed suspects had made off with an undisclosed amount of cash. The incident occurred at around 07:50. Guards working for Fidelity Security Company were transporting cash on the R538 towards Dayizenza in Masoyi. A grey BMW collided with the vehicle, forcing it to a halt.
The police urge anyone with information on the whereabouts of the suspects, to call the Crime Stop number on 08600 10111 or send information via the My SAPS app. All received information will be treated as confidential and callers may opt to remain anonymous.
Meanwhile, the provincial police commissioner, Lieutenant General Semakaleng Manamela, has ordered for the swift arrest of the suspects. “We believe that somebody has seen or heard something regarding the suspects and we plead with our communities to use our channels of communication to bring forth the details. Nonetheless, we are on the ground hunting for the suspects and we will make sure that they are soon brought to book.”
