Police probe double murder in Limpopo

SAPS are urging anyone with information to assist investigations after two men were found dead near Matswale.

Police in Musina have opened two murder cases after the bodies of two men were discovered near Matswale on Friday (May 15), reports Review Online.

According to police, officers were called to a scene along the N1 towards Beitbridge, opposite Phase 8 in Matswale, at about 12:50.

On arrival, police reportedly found two men lying on the ground with multiple injuries, including suspected gunshot wounds.

The deceased have been identified as 45-year-old Mokwena Tshepo from Matswale Phase 12, and 28-year-old Mbedzi Edzisani from Matswale Phase 03.

Emergency medical services declared both men dead at the scene.

Police said the circumstances surrounding the incident are still under investigation and no arrests had been made at the time of publication.
