Tshwane SAPS spokesperson Warrant Officer Johan van Dyk says the motive for the shooting is unclear.

According to a police report, the shooter and Amese were involved in an altercation just before the shooting.

He then chased after another man who managed to escape and alert another security guard.

“He turned the firearm on himself and committed suicide.”

Van Dyk says an inquest docket and murder docket are under investigation.

He says they can’t comment until the investigation is concluded.

“We [will] also give full assistance to SAPS in their investigation.

“Our condolences to the family of the deceased individuals,” says Jansen van Rensburg.
