French toast victory as Kane blasts England’s hopes sky high

The defending champs, France, march on to face Morocco in the semi-finals. England literally paid the penalty as they bowed out 2-1 to France in a match where both sides squandered good chances.

None more so than Three Lions captain Harry Kane who, after scoring from the penalty spot to level matters, failed to do so when they were awarded another spot kick.
