Soshanguve missing boy found in mortuary
Ezra Mahlangu’s family found out that he died a day after he went missing.

A Soshanguve family is distraught after receiving the news of the death of their beloved son who they have been searching for, for three weeks.
The family of Ezra Mahlangu confirmed that his body was found in a Ga-Rankuwa Zone 5 mortuary on Wednesday.
The 16-year-old autistic deaf boy had been reported missing last month and the family had been searching for him ever since.
According to his brother, Surprise Mshwana, Eza has been in the mortuary since August 29, a day after he went missing.
“We have a lot of questions. No one even reached out to ask us to come to see the unidentified dead person they have in the mortuary when posters of missing people were all over,” he says.
He says the family is waiting for the investigating officer to tell them where he was found and the cause of his death.
“Apparently my brother was hit by a car at the R80 Mabopane highway but we never heard of an accident there and if that happened how did he end up in a Ga-Rankuwa mortuary while there are mortuaries in Soshanguve?” he says.
