South Coast man murdered in front of friends
A man from the South Coast was recently murdered by a group of masked men.
A man from Gamalakhe near Uvongo in the South Coast area was murdered in front of his friends in Qinabout last Tuesday.
Police spokesperson, Sergeant Sibo Ncane, said police responded to a complaint of murder at around 19:30.
“It is alleged that a 42-year-old man was in his room with friends when three men entered wearing face masks, each in possession of a firearm. One of the armed men accused the man of taking his belongings and shot him multiple times, then fled. The man was declared dead at the scene.”
The other two men were not harmed. Gamalakhe police are investigating a case of murder and no arrests have been made.
