Soweto tavern shooting: Police minister to meet Nomzamo residents

This comes after 15 people were gunned down on Sunday.

SOWETO – The police minister, Bheki Cele is expected to visit the community of Nomzamo in Orlando East on Monday morning.

The planned visit comes after 15 people were gunned down at Mdlalose’s Tavern on Sunday.

The minister is expected to be briefed about the incident and also engage with residents in a community meeting.

Cele will be accompanied by the national police commissioner, General Fannie Masemola during the visit and they will also visit the crime scene.
