Speedster caught doing 210km/h outside George

The man was released on warning and will appear in court in January next year.

A 37-year-old George resident was arrested for speeding on Sunday after he was allegedly caught doing 210km/h on the N2 between George and Mossel Bay.

Provincial traffic police pulled the man over near the Gwaiing bridge at around 14:00.

The man’s identity cannot be made public as he was released on warning after his arrest and will only appear in the George Magistrate’s Court on January 5 next year.
