Teacher in Mossel Bay court amid rape, sexual assault charges
A primary school teacher is accused of rape and sexual assault acts between 2019 and 2020.
The 44-year-old Park Primary School teacher, facing charges of rape and sexual assault, among others, appeared in the Mossel Bay Regional Court today.
Mossel Bay Advertiser reports the matter was postponed to March 31 for a possible plea agreement.
The accused was arrested in September 2023 at the school.
Mossel Bay Advertiser previously reported that the alleged acts of rape and sexual assault took place from 2019 to 2020 at various locations in the Western Cape town.
The teacher is out on bail and his name may not be released until he pleads.
