Two killed, five injured in three separate accidents on South Coast
The injured were treated on scene before being taken to hospital.
Emergency services were kept busy between yesterday evening, January 28 and earlier this morning as they responded to three vehicle accidents on the South Coast.
In the first incident last night, Kwazulu Private Ambulance Service responded to the R61 in Leisure Bay for reports of a collision.
When emergency services arrived they found that two vehicles had been involved in a head-on collision. Paramedics quickly assessed the scene and found that one patient had succumbed to fatal injuries before emergency services arrived.
In a second crash earlier this morning, Kwazulu Private Ambulance Service also responded to the N2 in Bhobhoyi for reports of a collision. When emergency services arrived they found that a bakkie had lost control and left the road crashing down an embankment.
Paramedics quickly assessed the scene and found that five patients had sustained injuries ranging from minor to serious. The patients were treated on scene before being transported to hospital for further treatment.

In a third incident, also earlier this morning Kwazulu Private Ambulance Service responded to the N2 at Murchison for reports of a collision.
They found that a pedestrian had been knocked over by a vehicle. Paramedics quickly assessed the scene and found that one patient had died before emergency services arrived.
