Two rifles and two pistols with four live rounds of ammunition were seized from the suspects yesterday, police said.

The recovered firearms will be sent for ballistics tests to ascertain if they were used in any other crimes in the country.

The two suspects, aged 19 and 34, were charged for possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition. Both suspects appeared in Msinga Magistrates’ Court today.
