VIDEO: Joburg hijacking caught on camera
CCTV footage shows armed suspects hijacking a man outside his business premises in Johannesburg.
The CCTV footage clip, which was uploaded on Facebook by Intelligence Bureau SA, shows the man locking up his business and walking towards his car, which is parked nearby, at about 6.05pm on Tuesday, May 5. While at his car, a silver BMW 3 Series approaches the man before four suspects armed with assault rifles get out of the vehicle and walk towards the victim.
The victim is seen putting his hands up and his head down while the suspects search him and his car. The suspects then push the victim away before fleeing in his car towards Jeppestown. The victim is left uninjured.

This after another clip showing a group of suspects hijacking and subsequently abducting a motorist on a driveway surfaced in March.
According to the timestamp on the footage, the incident took place on February 26 this year. It was later uploaded on YouTube by Crime Watch.
In the video, a sedan is seen pulling into a driveway before a passenger alights from the vehicle. Another vehicle pulls up behind them on the street, and three suspects armed with what looks like an assault rifle get out of the car and approach the sedan.
The suspects then drag the driver of the sedan out and force him into the backseat before driving away while the passenger manages to escape.
