[Video]Reiger Park shooting: 6 murdered in ‘gang retaliation’ – resident

The Reiger Park community is reeling in shock after last night’s shooting.

According to police, the mass shooting in Reiger Park last night (November 1) claimed six lives and left three people injured.

Gauteng police spokesperson Colonel Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi said the Acting Provincial Commissioner of SAPS in Gauteng, Major General Fred Kekana, mobilised resources following a drive-by shooting incident.

“It is reported that on the afternoon of November 1, two vehicles – a silver Polo and a black Polo – came into the area and the occupants started shooting randomly.”

Police say the motive for the shootings is not clear at this stage.

“Investigations are underway, and a manhunt has been launched for the suspects,” said Nevhuhulwi
