Warning: Heavy thunderstorms expected for Gauteng

All Gauteng residents have been warned against the potential threat of small amounts of hail and damaging winds

The South African Weather Service has warned all Gauteng residents that there is a weather watch in place for Wednesday 20 November, as conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms, Roodepoort Record reports.

A severe weather watch is an alert calling for people to be prepared for weather hazards that most likely will occur within one to three days and that could lead to disruptive and disastrous conditions.
