Watch: Matric rave starts in Mossel Bay

Dias Beach is set to become ‘Matriekbaai’ as young people celebrate the end of the 2022 academic year and many bid farewell to school.

The ‘Matriekbaai’ officially opened at Dias Beach in Mossel Bay on Friday but the first night was relatively quiet with howling winds making for an unpleasant beach experience.

It is expected that matrics, some who wrote their last exams on Friday, will descend on Mossel Bay over the weekend.

Entertainment is set to pick up as the weekend progresses and as more young holiday goers arrive to celebrate the end of their school career.
