Watch: Tempers flare in Shelly Beach ‘road rage’ incident

Two women seem to fight through a vehicle window until a man arrives and intervenes, pulling them apart.

What appears to be a road rage incident brought traffic to a standstill in Shelly Beach on Wednesday. The incident, said to have happened at the traffic lights near the Shelly Centre, was recorded on video by another motorist.

In the video, a woman can be seen fighting with the driver of a vehicle through the driver’s window.  At one stage it looks like the driver of the vehicle gets hold of the other woman’s hair.

The struggle continues for a while before a man intervenes, pulling the two women apart whereafter the woman outside the vehicle loses her balance and falls on the road.

As she gets up, it seems like she is scratching the vehicle with something before she walks off.

At this stage it is unclear what happened before the video was recorded that led to the confrontation.
