WATCH: Tempers flare in Shelly Beach ‘road rage’ incident

It's not clear what led to this incident and why the woman become so angry.

A video posted on social media of what appears to be a road rage incident has seen no end of shares and comments. The incident took place at the traffic lights near the Shelly Centre on Wednesday.

In the video, a woman can be seen at the driver window of another motorist. It looks like she is trying to get her arm through the window.

This goes on for a while before a man comes across the intervene. The angry woman has a go at him to, but slips and falls down on the road.

She then gets back up and storms off and that’s around about where the video ends. It’s not clear what led to this incident and why the woman become so angry.

Whatever, the case, the incident serves as a reminder to remain calm during the Christmas season.

South Coast roads become particularly busy at this time of year and motorists are asked to be patient.

It doesn’t help that not all traffic lights are working. That’s on the authorities and they really need to ensure things are in working order, especially in the region’s busiest times of year.

In addition, many motorists don’t know or fail to obey the rules of the four-way stop.

Hot and/or wet weather can make it more difficult for one to remain in a good mood.
