WATCH: Trail of destruction after another accident near Ermelo

This was the third accident on the N2 within a time period of 48 hours.

Another accident on the N2 near Ermelo yesterday evening ended in the death of one person.

The accident occurred near the Camden turnoff. It is not clear what had transpired, but two vehicles were involved in the collision.

Two other patients with minor injuries were transported to Ermelo Provincial Hospital.

Highvelder is probing the extent of their injuries which are not yet clear.

Ermelo Provincial Ambulance Services (EMS), ER24, Msukaligwa Fire and Rescue Services, towing services, the local traffic department and local police are on the scene.

It is the third accident to have happened on this road within 48 hours.

Highvelder reported yesterday, about another multi-vehicle accident on the road that claimed the life of one person.

Similarly, there was another multi-vehicle accident on March 22, where the occupants of the vehicles managed to escape with their lives.
