Watch: Truck crashes into accident scene

Two people were injured after a truck crashed into an accident scene earlier today.
The accident happened on the R34 about 19km outside Ulundi, heading towards Vryheid.
Dashcam footage posted online shows a convoy of vehicles, including trucks and light motor vehicles, negotiating their way past an earlier accident where one tipper truck is lying on its side.
A sudden explosion erupts as a result of a collision into the crash scene.
Emergency services providers on the scene confirmed the injuries and said six vehicles: Four trucks, a bakkie and a SUV were involved. Four vehicles caught alight after the secondary crash.
What is apparent from the footage is that there will be a long road closure on this route.
The route has since Friday been used as an alternate route for truckers travelling to Richards Bay, following the horrific accident between a truck and bakkie on the N2 near Pongola.
