SuperSport pundit Swys de Bruin has blasted the ‘bizarre’ decision-making from referee Nika Amashukeli and his officiating team following the Springboks’ defeat by Ireland.

De Bruin was not the only one who questioned some of the decision making. South Africa director of rugby Rassie Erasmus on Sunday posted a video on social media highlighting two similar incidents which were handled differently by Amashukeli.

The test match in Dublin was Erasmus’ first back at a stadium since completing a matchday ban handed down by World Rugby for criticising match officials during last year’s British & Irish Lions Series.
