Watch: Yacht stranded on Santos Beach shallows towed out to sea

Watch as the National Sea Rescue Institute's rescue operations unfolded after a yacht was stranded in Mossel Bay.

A yacht was stranded in the shallows at Santos Beach in Mossel Bay, leading to a rescue operation by the local National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI).

Mossel Bay Advertiser reports there is high wind currently in the harbour town on the Garden Route.

According to videos and updates posted to its Facebook page, the NSRI’s tug, Arctic Tern, successfully towed the yacht.
