West Rand boy (13) missing for 16 days – Family pleads for help

The family of Oratile Kgaswane has pleaded with the public to help locate their son.

Today marks 16 days since Laerskool Rapportryer learner Oratile Kgaswane has gone missing.

According to his mother, Jackie Kgaswane, Oratile was last seen on Wednesday morning April 27. She was leaving for work and her son was sitting in front of the TV eating breakfast.

“We hope that we will find our Oratile safe and sound; we’ve been searching for him tirelessly,” the mother says.

She asked the public to assist, and keep their eyes and ears open for any sign of her son.

Anyone with information can contact the Randfontein Police on 011 414 4992, the Crime Stop number 08600 10111 or leave an anonymous tip-off on the My SAPS app.
