West Rand man accused of sexually abusing minor granted bail
A man appeared in the Randfontein Magistrate’s Court today in connection with the sexual abuse of an eight-year-old girl.
A man in his 60s, accused of sexually abusing an eight-year-old girl, again appeared in the Randfontein Magistrate’s Court today.
The man was previously granted bail and during today’s proceedings the prosecutor requested that the matter be postponed to consult with the victim’s mother.
The accused is due to again appear in court on April 15.
His legal representative approached him to confirm if he heard the date.
The accused said he preferred to listen to the hearing in Afrikaans and the court translator read the outcome in Afrikaans.
He remains out on bail.
