Woman killed in Vanderbijlpark shooting

Investigations are underway to arrest the alleged hitmen who killed a woman on her way to work.

A 33-year-old woman was shot and killed in Vanderbijlpark this morning.

According to information at Sedibeng Ster‘s disposal, the woman was driving to work when an alleged assassin opened fire on her car that was near traffic lights close to a private school in the area.

Police were dispatched to the scene.

Sedibeng police spokesperson Captain Teboho Lephoto says a murder case has been opened.

“No suspect has been arrested at the moment, however, investigations are underway. The motivate is unknown,” he adds.
