The 2025 Audi A3 Sportback and Sedan receive a significant update, featuring sharper styling, a refined interior, and a focus on enhanced technology.

Exterior enhancements:

The exterior design exudes dynamism with a wider, flatter single frame grille, larger side air intakes, and a prominent front spoiler. The sleek LED headlights now incorporate 24-pixel digital daytime running lights for improved visibility and safety. The rear end is more distinctive with a redesigned bumper and diffuser. Inspired by RS models, the S line exterior further enhances the sporty character, while the new district green paint adds a touch of individuality.

Refined interior:

The interior echoes the exterior’s sharper focus with revised air vents, a redesigned centre console, and new interior lighting. Standard equipment has been significantly expanded, including a three-spoke leather steering wheel, ambient lighting package plus, comfort key, and a panoramic glass sunroof.

The interior lighting adds a unique touch, with illuminated door panels featuring a dynamic gradient effect. The new Sonos 3D premium sound system delivers an immersive audio experience. Sustainable materials like recycled polyester and dinamica microfibre are incorporated throughout the cabin, reflecting Audi’s commitment to environmental responsibility.

Engine and trim levels:

Initially, the A3 will be available in South Africa with a 1.5-litre 35 TFSI turbocharged petrol engine producing 110kW and 250Nm of torque, paired with a seven-speed S tronic transmission and a mild-hybrid system. A wider range of engine options will be introduced later in 2025.

The A3 is offered exclusively in S line trim, featuring 18-inch alloy wheels, LED lights with dynamic turn signals, lane departure warning, parking assist, a panoramic sunroof, sports seats, and the Audi virtual cockpit. The black edition further enhances the sporty appeal with darkened exterior trim, black alloy wheels, and privacy glass.

Pricing and availability:

Pricing for the 2025 Audi A3 range will be announced in early 2025. All models have a 5-year/100 000km Audi freeway plan for comprehensive service and maintenance.
