Idols SA Season 9 brings many to Pretoria
South Africa will soon have its next idol.
The time is drawing near for the country to have a brand new idol. Thousands of Idols SA Season 9 fanatics filled the Moreleta Park NG Church Auditorium on Friday evening during the Top 8 spectacular.
Fans rocked up from far and wide to show their support as the contestants performed songs from their favourite movies.
The contestants’ mentor of the week was international film composer Trevor Jones, who made sure that the movie soundtracks were superbly brought to life.
Idols SA judges, Gareth Cliff, Randall Abrahams and Unathi Msengana, were swept away by some of the items in this round, but said that the competition was tough and contestants Brenden, Zoe, Chrystalene, Sonke, Innocent, Christina, Bunny and Musa had to keep their performances fresh.
