One person was killed during an armed robbery in Pretoria West on Wednesday.
According to a reliable source, an unknown number of armed robbers entered a shop at a petrol station on the corner of Rebecca and Vom Hagen streets at about 9.15am, Rekord Moot reported.
The details surrounding the killing and how the robbers escaped are still unclear.
According to the source, the police pursued the robbers in a helicopter.
Four men have already been arrested, and it is alleged that two police officers were involved.
Two firearms were found on the scene, and an operation is under way in West Park to look for the remaining firearms.
