A suspect was arrested today on Hendrik Potgieter Road, following a high-speed vehicle chase on the West Rand, Roodepoort Northsider reports.
The suspect was nabbed near the Hillfox Shopping Centre in Weltevreden Park where the wanted vehicle, an orange Ford ST, caused an accident.

The suspect face-down in the street after being captured.
It is said the suspect was travelling with two accomplices who fled the scene after the car crash.
The suspect was arrested after being found hiding under a piece of cardboard on the embankment nearby. Traffic was backed up on Hendrik Potgieter Road as different police units and security personnel attempted to track down the other suspects.
