Local riders excels in SA Young Rider Championship
She competed against 66 riders

The SA Junior and Young Rider championships in show jumping and equitation concluded at Maple Ridge Equestrian Centre in Gauteng on September 14. Local riders Gwendolyn and Anne Isaacs from Whickers Paddock Equestrian Centre travelled to compete in the testing hot and dry conditions.
Gwendolyn was part of the 1m KZN show jumping team that competed against 66 riders from all over South Africa. Riding her horse, Mae Lily, she placed seventh in the speed competition, first in the accumulator and first in the SA national 1m championships class. These achievements also bagged her the victix ludorum title in the 1.00m class. Her team took a second place overall in the class.
Anne, riding Samson, competed in the pony riders competition and received a third place.
