A colour blast of fun
The fund-raiser run/walk was organised to raise awareness in the community of children with special needs.
The Bloom Special Needs School‘s 5km colour run/walk on Saturday, June 4, at Sugar Rush Park, raised more than R8 000.
The fund-raiser run/walk was organised to raise awareness in the community of children with special needs. More than 300 entrants from five to 50 years had fun along the colourful route which included balloon arches every kilometre and being sprayed with colour.
A kids zone provided a shorter route for children with special needs and for those under three.
After the run, entrants and their supporters relaxed with some boerie rolls and refreshments.
The school hopes to make this event an annual one and thanks everyone who participated and supported it.
