Sandy hooves, salty hair in Umdloti

Umdloti residents and holidaymakers were in for a treat when a group of about 20 Free Staters and their horses arrived for a beach holiday last weekend.
The group of horse lovers decided to bring their hoofed companions with them and had an unforgettable ride on the beach with some of the stunning moments captured by Ballito photographer Samantha Akker Basson from Precision Photography.
“It was phenomenal to stand between all the horses and just shoot. I just wanted to get up and ride with them. Absolutely amazing experience,” said Basson.
