A tipple or two at the refreshment tables

It was an afternoon of fun for everyone who came out to support Holla’s Tipsy Trail year-end run or ride through the scenic trails on Fairview Estates on Saturday.

To break the traditional standard of running and biking events, the trail event featured two refreshment tables on route where riders and runners could choose to stop for a chilled beer and take a shortcut or skip the beer and opt for the longer route – participants did not spend much time deliberating the choice.

Taking a break from the monotony of recovery shakes and race times, the afternoon proved a big success with participants who all finished with smiles on their faces and a new appreciation for their riding and drinking abilities.

Enjoying the much-deserved refreshments on offer are Colleen Willis, Claudene Baker, Natasha Barnes and Jill Connell.
Handy helpers: Assisting at the second refreshment table are Bevin Crooks, Matthew Foord, James Jordan and Ryder Jordan.
Not having to worry about recovery shakes and race times are father and son team, Ian Rall senior and Ian Rall junior.
