Family fun day festivities at RE/MAX Dolphin’s ‘Spark Up The Parks’ fundraiser
The event will feature the RE/MAX hot air balloon, with tethered flights being offered to raffle winners, along with an inflatable park, colour festival, craft market and food stalls.
Enjoy a fun-filled day of entertainment for the whole family at the RE/MAX ‘Spark Up The Parks’ Family Fun Day at Ashton College next week.
The fundraising event, which will be held on Sunday, April 28 from 8am – 2pm, is the first of many exciting events planned this year as part of RE/MAX Dolphin’s 2019 community initiative.
The event will feature the RE/MAX hot air balloon, with tethered flights being offered to raffle winners, along with an inflatable park, colour festival, craft market and food stalls.
Every year, RE/MAX chooses a local community drive that they feel directly impacts and improves the live of those in the community. This year their objective is to fund and arrange for the upliftment of our local parks which have been enhancing the lives of our local residents for many years.
“They provide green space, room for people to exercise and do yoga, throw birthday parties, picnic under a tree, play with their pets or watch little ones explore their adventurous side,” said RE/MAX Dolphin Charity Committee, John Pechey.
“To keep their youthful exuberance, beauty and feeling of home, they have to be maintained, and in some instances restored.
“The idea behind the ‘Spark Up The Parks’ campaign is to breathe new life into the parks by making them look their best, keeping the facilities in good working condition and filling the parks with brighter, refreshed energy for all to enjoy.”
There will be plenty of prizes up for grabs on the day, including 20 tethered flights in the hot air balloon, two microlight flights, five x 20l of paint to restore your very own home, and off-shore fishing trip for five valued at R5000, or a round of golf at Zimbali Golf Course for a 4 ball including carts valued at R3000.
Tickets for the event and raffle tickets are available from RE/MAX Dolphin Realtors offices, Ashton College, Dolphin Coast Pre-Primary, Village Kids and Umhlali Preparatory.
