Bundu bash with Benny Bushwhacker
KZN residents are in for a wild treat.
The only man to walk the length of Africa barefoot – not once, not twice but three times – is strolling into Durban at the end of this month.
From July 29 to August 11, Benny Bushwhacker, or Ben Vos, takes the Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre stage with the hopes of producing hearty South African humour and consequently, deep-throated belly-aching laughter.
The environmental campaigner and world-renowned conservationist delivers a wickedly funny show by combining witty content with his undying love for the natural world.
By harnessing his extensive bush logic and joke-making prowess, Benny Bushwhacker is able to have chortles and chuckles aimed at him while creating environmental awareness and educating his South African audience.
His performances are described as “Edutainment at its best!” according to public feedback from the National Arts Festival in Makhanda/Grahamstown.
“Great show, an education, a laugh and a very serious message that warns of the ramifications of man’s stupidity”.
His Durban pit stop is a part a South African tour, where the money raised will be going toward the Lebombo Leopard – Human Conflict Survey.
Grab seats on Computicket; early-bird tickets are available and performances on July 30 and 31 are on special offer of R80.

Miss one Bear Grylls episode and join Benny Bushwhacker for a hilarious night out at the Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre.
