Just back from the Latimer Music Festival in Chiltern Hills, England, pianist Christopher Duigan will be offering a review of his overseas performance at Grace Hall, Ashton on July 29.
Starting at 7pm, the audience will be treated to a classical recital featuring some of Duigan’s favourite compositions including Beethoven’s immortal ‘Moonlight’ Sonata Op. 27 no 2, Debussy’s ‘Clalr de lune’, Handel’s ‘Chaconne in G’, the iconic ‘Ballade No 1’ by Chopin, and music by Schubert and Liszt.
Tickets are available at the door and cost R150 which includes refreshments.
