Rebels get ready to Burn the Floor

Dance fans are in for a treat when the hottest ballroom spectacular, Burn the Floor, returns to South Africa in September, featuring some of the world’s best dance champions!
This year’s installment of the production is named “The Rebels of the Ballroom”, and is set to be more sizzling than ever before.

From September 12-29 at Sibaya’s iZulu Theatre, feast your eyes on some truly mind-blowing dancing – from foxtrots to rumbas, with expert choreography by Peta Roby.
Burn the Floor is one of the world’s most prolific ballroom and theatre productions and is said to have revolutionised the image of ballroom across the globe.
Its international cast of dance champions are handpicked for their outstanding skill.

South Africans should look out for local superstars, namely South African Latin dancing champion, Kylee Brown, and songstress Lelo Ramasimong.
Audiences can expect music from the likes of Rag and Boneman, James Brown, Aretha Franklin, Santana, Janis Joplin, and Led Zeppelin.
“It is a thrill and a privilege to host the Durban leg of this exceptional dance extravaganza. When it comes to dance, shows this is the ultimate,” says Sibaya’s PR and Promotions Manager, Janet Pillay.

Tickets cost R285 per person and are available from Computicket or via Checkers and Shoprite retail stores, countrywide.
