SA’s legendary duo perform for Ballito
Ard Matthews and Arno Carstens drew the crowds to Sugar Rush last Sunday.
Two of South Africa’s iconic artists took to the stage for an unforgettable music ensemble that drew more than 1000 fans to Sugar Rush Park last Sunday afternoon.
With a combined musical expertise than spans 35 years Ard Matthews and Arno Carstens’ on-stage collaboration was a one-of-a-kind experience for Ballito.

The crowds enjoyed two lengthy solo sets by each artist, followed by an entertaining collaboration with the two rock legends on stage together.
Durban singer Miles Jacoby opened the show with a selection of covers and pop/rock originals that impressed the fans. Jacoby has been playing music from the age of six and his love for his craft has taken him across the globe where he has learned and played extensively.

Arno’s live performance set included hits from his career as front man of The Springbok Nude Girls, many of the beloved and most celebrated songs from his career as a platinum selling, award winning English solo artist and some popular cover tracks, both in English and Afrikaans.
The duo also paid a touching tribute to music legend Johnny Clegg.
The Dolphin Coast community can expect one more show for 2019 at the Marriott Ballito Beats concert featuring The Parlotones on October, 6.
