Clifton boys celebrate outstanding matric results
Local students with global ambitions.
Clifton, the independent boys’ school in Durban, congratulates the class of 2020 on their excellent matric results.
Not only have they come through one of the most challenging years, but they have traveled their own paths at Clifton, and will be moving on to exciting new opportunities this year.
Eleven of the class of 2020 have opted to enter the engineering field in either computer, mechanical, chemical, civil or mechatronics.
Three have opted for Actuarial Sciences while others are exploring agricultural, business or computer sciences.
One of our matriculants will be taking on Applied Geoinformatics, and 6 others will be going into the medical fields of surgery, emergency medical services, biological science and medicine.
Seventeen are spreading their wings further afield to take up study in countries such as Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, China, Netherlands, and the United States.
One will be continuing with his study of Mandarin in Taiwan, and another will be on the high seas in the super yachting industry.
We have gents studying towards degrees in theoretical physics, architecture, financial management, accounting and management sciences, and a number moving into the field of the arts with studies in performance, theatre, music, film, television, creative writing, and animation.
Wherever they go, we wish the Class of 2020 everything of the very best as they begin a new chapter of their lives.
We have so enjoyed watching their individual stories unfold as we travelled their educational journey with them.
