The Ashlings Early Learning Centre prides itself on being “child-centred”.
From the minute you walk through the doors, you can feel that the heart of the staff and the school at large, is devoted to helping each child reach their full potential.
The school, quite simply believes in the power of play!

In the Ashlings Early Learning Centre, they focus on connection between the child and their teacher, and the connection between families and the school.
Daily activities focus on play-based, hands-on learning and this is scaffolded by specialist sessions in the library, puzzle club and music lessons which include percussion drumming for our older children.
The children’s gross motor systems are further developed with weekly ball skills sessions and seasonal swimming lessons with trained coaches.
Age-appropriate computer literacy skills are introduced from Grade 00 (4-5 year olds).
Looking into the future, an exciting Robotics programme will be introduced in 2022.

The name “Adventure Club” speaks for itself and the students who cannot be collected at 12.30pm, join the club.
Fun, stimulating, learn-through-play activities are on offer until 5pm daily, with the added luxury of having ballet, swimming and other extra-murals on campus.

Every day is Open Day at Ashton and they look forward to inviting you to see the school in action.
