Destiny Life Academy proves once again that every child has the capacity for greatness, with a 100% matric pass rate for the class of 2025.

Located in the heart of Umhlali, the vibrant Christian co-educational high school continues its tradition of combining academic excellence with a strong relational foundation.

“Since our founding in 2010, we have been dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing environment where young people are equipped to fulfill their God-given potential,” said principal Colleen Moodley.

This year, 82% of the matric class achieved bachelor’s passes, reinforcing the school’s commitment to preparing pupils for tertiary education and beyond.

“I am incredibly proud of our matrics. They were in Grade 7 during the Covid-19 disruptions of 2020. They have shown incredible resilience and gone on to excel,” said Moodley.
Top achiever Rebeckah Joy Emmanuel (18) earned a 74% aggregate and is set to study law.

“Rebeckah came to us in Grade 10 and her results then were nowhere near where they are now. She has worked hard and I am confident she will excel at university,” said Moodley.

With small classes and subject specialist teachers, Destiny Life Academy offers individualised attention, fostering a growth mindset in each pupil.

“Our teachers continually challenge pupils to go beyond what they believe is possible,” said Moodley.
